Kingsport Grocery Company on Haunted South TV

The Beyond Paranormal team will be hosting a television launch party for their new show from Elixir Media Group “Haunted South” at the Bone Fire Smokehouse on Saturday,  October 30, 2010, 10pm. It will be free of charge and will consist of a meet and greet with the Beyond team.

Around 10:45 attendees can watch the early premiere of the debut episode of “Haunted South” filmed at the Kingsport Grocery Company.

The premiere episode of “Haunted South” will air Saturday, October 30th at midnight (technically Oct 31st at the strike of midnight) on Tri-Cities CW4.

After the launch party  the Beyond Paranormal team and Elixir Media Group will be hosting a “Ghost Tour” of Kingsport Grocery Company from 12 am – 2 am.

The fire department working on the Kingsport Grocery Company fire in March 1938. The fire was contained to the second and third floors and reconstruction on the building began very soon after the fire.

On a side note, the Beyond Paranormal Team filmed here at the archives when they came in to do research for this episode. I don’t know if it will be in the final version but keep an eye out for the archives and me, your city archivist! I could tell you about the information I helped them find but you will just have to wait and watch the episode.
