First Baptist Church of Kingsport set an attendance record when the Sunday School Class met on January 17, 1932. 1,083 people lined up to have their photograph taken for the occasion. Dr. Robert L. Wyatt was pastor of First Baptist when this photograph was taken.
The First Baptist Church held its first organizational meeting on January 14, 1917. The church’s first building was built with funds provided by William Roller. As the congregation grew so did the church building. In 1927, a new building was erected around the original structure and throughout the years the church has continued to expand and build onto the structure.

That is so amazing! Keep those awesome photos coming!
